With an 0-6 start to the season the New Orleans Pelican’s are looking to bounce back early.
From Zion Williamson looking as healthy as we have seen since college, to the addition of rookie Jeremiah Fears, the hype and the expectations surrounding the team in the Big Easy was real this offseason.
With half of these losses have come from teams still riding championship and playoff high, the other half come from a 6 point or less loss.
Against high caliber teams the Pelicans are struggling to shoot an effective clip and hold their own on defense. However, on terms of teams on the same level or slightly higher, they are beginning to prove they may be able to hold their own.
While a clear identity still needs to be established before a conversation such as playoffs can begin to be brought up, the hope in New Orleans can still stay alive this season once this teams learns to operate as a functional unit and capitalize.
